Our HISTORY

1985

Foundation

ENGELMIG was founded by partners Moisés Pêsso and David Pêsso in Manhuaçu/MG, focusing on the construction of electrical networks in the region and retail trade of electrical materials. Acquisition of the company’s first truck. Signing of the first contract with CFLCL for the provision of small services in the electrical network.

1988 - 2004

Various Contracts

In 1988, ENGELMIG signed its first contract with ESCELSA in Espírito Santo. In 1990, it signed a contract with CEMIG in Governador Valadares - MG. In 1998, it expanded to Rio de Janeiro with CERJ. In 2004, it started building transmission lines with CFCL.

2006 - 2009

Expansion and Diversification

In 2006, ENGELMIG signed a contract with ENERSUL in Mato Grosso do Sul, thus entering the Midwest region. In 2008, it signed a contract with COELBA in Bahia, expanding its presence to the Northeast. In 2009, it started the High Voltage Maintenance contract in Rio de Janeiro.

2010 - 2014

New Segments

In 2010, ENGELMIG entered the industrial segment, serving clients such as Vale, Braskem, and Petrobras. In 2013, it signed a contract for the maintenance of wind farms with RENOVA in Bahia. In addition to expanding its maintenance services in wind farms and transmission lines, it consolidated its presence in these segments.

2019

ANEEL Auctions

Entry into the construction of Transmission Lines from ANEEL auctions, expanding ENGELMIG's performance in this type of project.

2024

Constant Growth

149 UENs (Business Units) in operation and presence in 20 states in Brazil, demonstrating ENGELMIG's growth and consolidation in the national market.

Reading

Meter reading services, delivery of invoices and documents (simultaneous or not), personalized delivery of communications, along with adequacy and replacement of meters.

Renewable Generation Asset Management

Integrated management of maintenance, operation, performance, and availability of renewable generation assets.

Technical-Commercial Service

New connections, inspections, disconnections, and reconnections of energy through specific guidance from the concessionaires. Reading and billing services, including simultaneous bill printing.
